Hi,

I have searched a bit online, is this a xamarin issue that the comma seperator is greyed out here?

We need our numbers to be seperated with comma like 8,5 instead of only 8. When testing with a browser it works because I can just put in a comma and it is allowed so it must have something to do with android?

The field is inserted in a SP list with the column and fields formatted as numbers.

I have built a PowerApp for a small time tracking and we will deploy it on all android tablets.

However, when I want to input this on a pretty normal Samsung Android tab, the number picker greys out the comma and only allows point? Seems like a localization issue? The tablet is formatted in German, so in this case the number seperator should be a comma rather than a point.

Anybody else had this problem and what is a solution or can be a workaround?

Appreciate any comments and help as always 🙂

This will be an issue that's related to the keyboard on the device.

There's a similar post that refers to iOS devices here.

A workaround would be to try a different keyboard. On my Android device for example, the standard Google Gboard keyboard offers the choice of both commas and point symbols, and doesn't grey either of those out for numeric text input controls.
