Calculated field does not display result

Hey guys. I finished building my tables, however, my calculated column is not doing the calculations.

My tables look like this:

1. Customer (table) - With the column:
Name
And a relationship with the Order table

2. Plants (table) - With the columns:
species name
Unitary value
Stock
And relationship with Order table

3. Order (table) - With the columns:
Customer Name - searchable type where I reference the Customer table (to pull the Customer name)

Plant Name - searchable type where I reference the Plant table (to pull the Plant name)

Quantity - where the order quantity is informed

Order Amount - where I made a calculated field, like this: the Quantity column * the Value column (from the Plant table)

I attached the image of the field

However, when I make a record, the "Order Amount" column is blank.
How do I proceed? Thanks!

    Hi @Drizer ,

This happens if one of your fields is not filled in on the formula, it will show blank.  Can you verify both source values in the formula contain a value?

    Hello ,

    Thank you for your solution.
I'm having the same issue for weeks with a very simple calculated column that sums up 5 columns of the same table. A kind of very classic work for Excel that becomes doubting in Dataverse 😉  Indeed I had many empty fields, by filling the with 0 now it's working. ... 😞

I am having a similar problem, but I have checked and there are no blank fields.

It pulls through text "name" fields okay but when I try and pull through the currency field it is just blank.

I have simplified the formula to just equal the currency value in the other table and that will not even work.

    Hi @Joel_Jacks ,

What is the value of the related table value for the Est Cost New?  Can you add to the view you are showing so I can see this value as well in your image?

    Hello,

    Also have this problem

    I have created a calculated column with the following JSON =IF([Calibration Due]="","",IF([Calibration Due]<TODAY(),"Requires Calibration",IF([Review Date]-7<TODAY(),"Requires Calibration","Calibrated")))

The idea is that an equipment item will be classed as Calibrated, or Requires Calibration, based on a date value.

I have two other options which are Out for Calibration and N/A. Which as you can see, are not in the JSON.

Is this why I am not seeing them in my sharepoint list? If so, is there a way to add them to the JSON without affecting the formula?

    Hi @Olliedeecoswor ,

Can you please enter this information into a new post vs. modifying this one since it already has a solution?  If you want to reference it you could add a link inside your post to this ticket.
