Power APPS - I don't have permission to view a Table in Dataverse created by me

Hi,

I imported data from an excel file via onedrive into a Dataverse Table. When I'm trying to create the app from this table I'm receiving the error from the printscreen. It's very confused, since the table is created from my user, what permission should I gave to my user?

    Hi @kta87 ,

You need to assign a role that has at least User level read permissions for your SF Account table you identified above at a minimum...

    Example:

    1. Go to admin.powerplatform.com and in the left navigation choose "Environments" and then in the right pane, choose your environment.
    2. When you pull up your environment you will see on the right side "Access"

    3. Choose See All under Security Roles
      1. Best practice is to create customer security roles vs. changing roles that exist
      2. When you created your entity it will be added to the "Custom Entities" tab for all roles and you need to set up at least the "User" level permissions to Read and probably others... based on your use case

      3. Note, above I actually selected Read at the Organization level which means for the Actual entity I can read any of them across all business units but only Create my own and Update (Write) to my own.
    4. Next step would be to save your security role and then go back to the Access and find your user and assign them to the security role.

Let me know if you need more details on this.  Good quick overview here:  https://youtu.be/MJhIwVSpQNM

    Hi @dpoggemann ,

Thank you for your answer, but the environment is empty, I cannot select anything.

Maybe because I'm a business user in a organisation, and somebody else is the real admin?

    Hi @kta87 ,

Correct, you will need to work with an administrator to provide you appropriate role to have access as identified above.
