Is Power Apps web player supposed to support Save Data and Load Data?

Power Apps web version allegedly support Save Data and Load Data as experimental features, yet when turning them on errors still occur as if nothing has changed. In documentation of Save Data and Load Data it says in a note that you can enable this features however I've been unsuccessful in doing so, I can still turn them on but nothing changes. Does anyone know what might cause this? Or has it been discontinued without updating documentation?

@Anonymous What do you mean by "errors" still occur? What kind of erroros do you get?

The error message i get:

There was a problem saving your data. Data cannot be saved when running in a web browser.

@Anonymous You will only get the error while you are in Edit mode. When playing the app it should work.
