Cannot add form to datacard

When I select a datacard, click Insert and select Forms > Edit, the form is placed on top of the screen, not inside the datacard.   If I try and cut/paste the form into the datacard, pasting does nothing.

This started occurring yesterday, regardless of whether its existing canvas app or a new one. The issue occurs across browsers (firefox/chrome) and computers - logging in/out, force refresh, clearing cache, etc.

I have previously been able to do this without issue; I have other screens in my apps where I have forms placed within a datacard.

Can anyone replicate or provide any suggestions on why this no longer works?

@Ramole I will detail the steps for you:

    1. In a new or existing power app, create a new scrollable screen:

    2. Select the data card
    3. Click Insert > Forms > Edit

    4. You will see that the Edit form as not been inserted into the data card you selected:

The edit form should be inside the data card - the tree view should list it under 'DataCard2', not directly under 'Screen1'
    5. Other items can be added to the datacard and can only be moved within said card - note they are correctly listed under 'DataCard2'

Here is an example of a form that has been added to a data card - this is one I created on Sunday before the above issue started:

You can see the form is correctly located inside datacard_General_4. The form cannot be moved outside of the data cards dimensions

Do you know why this behaviour has changed and seemingly not possible anymore?

    Thanks

I don't understand why I've been able to add forms to scrollable screens for over a year without issue and now suddenly I have to use containers, despite my other screens never needing them.  I suppose I will have to do that from now on.

Does my solution work for you ?

his issue likely arose due to recent updates in PowerApps. Try this workaround:

    1. Add a Container: Insert a container inside your data card.
    2. Place Form Outside: Add your form outside the data card first.
    3. Move Form to Container: Copy the form, select the container within the data card, and paste it inside.

This should resolve the issue. Let me know if you need more help!
