How to obtain yes or No confirmation from user before deleting the records

I saw some videos, many lengthier methods, several boxes and screen to obtain just yes or no from user.

 

I MS access we had a simple one line code (Msgbox()) to obtain yes or no from user and based on the decision the code moved further.

 

Is there such coding in power app to obtain yes or no from decision from user and proceed according the rest accordingly

 

pls. advise

    Hi @MIA27 

    There is a function 'Confirm'. However, it can only be used in Model-driven apps.

    Confirm function - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn

    It seems convenient, but I have never tried it myself.

    Dear Kirkby,

     

    In my app its not working. below is the error message

    I am using power app for teams.  Any other alternative.

    It doesn't work because it's not a model-driven app but a canvas app. There is no alternative for use in a canvas app

    Hi @MIA27 

    It's a feature that many people commonly desire, but unfortunately, it's not supported at the moment, so we have to create a popup dialogue  window as a component. Hopefully, it will be supported someday. 🙂
