Model Driven App - Display View value on Form

Hi All - I have a form set up for my custom table in MDApp, and the field pulls in a view that just shows the list values that I want the user to pick from - it works great except when they select the value from the list,  the Primary name column value is what displays on the form, not the value they picked from the view.   Is there any way to get the list value to display instead of the Primary name column value?

Thanks in advance !

Hello, @ctedesco3307, in the MDA, the only way to do that is to use the Primary name column for the values you want them select.

@ctedesco3307, By the way, you can embed a canvas app to the form and use that canvas app to update all the record data, and you can manage your dropdown list display value over there. Just a thought.

MDA Lookup will only display the Primary Name column value.  If you need to show additional values, you can create a quick view from for Table you are looking up, then on Form with the Lookup add the quick view form - when the Lookup is populated the quick view will display the extra columns (readonly) https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/customize/create-edit-quick-view-forms?view=op-9-1
