Dropdown box results into text box

Hi,

Sorry if this seems like an easy request, but being new to PowerApps I am struggling to get this to work.

I have a Sharepoint list with a column called Centres.

I have created a Drop Down box in PowerApps and it allows the user to select a particular Centre.

I would like to be able to put the selection into a text box with the phrase ' - Application' after the selection.

The output should look like this:-

Centre Name - Application

 

Would anybody be able to help as I am tearing my hair out over something I have a feeling might be really simple.

    I guess you want put the selected item in the dropdown into a textbox?

    If so in the Default of the textbox try any of these:

    DropdownName.Selected.Value

    Or

    DropdownName.Selected.Result

    Or

    DropdownName.Selected.Center

    Thank you for giving me some guidance.

    The  DropdownName.Selected.'Centre Name' worked for me, the other two suggstions didn't work.

     

    How do I now add the additional piece of text after the Centre Name has been selected?

     

    I would like to add -Applications to the text box for every selection.
