Date not showing in form

I have a canvas app which is a form, first page I have combo box to select employee name then 2 date boxes for start and end date.  Then that goes to next page which is the form, but the date won't see the selected dates from the first page.  On the form I have the dates default set to StartDate.SelectedDate, which points at the start date from the first page.  Is there something I need to check on the StartDate on page one?

Thanks for your help!

That should work. Can you share a screen shot of your form? I assume you are feeding that into a date field. Is it an actual form. Do you have the Default in the Parent card or the actual field control?

I have the Start Date_Datacard with default of ThisItem.'Start Date' and same with end date, and Update is set to DateValue1.SelectedDate which is datevalue.  but DateValue is default set to StartDate.SelectedDate and EndDate.SelectedDate.  This is on the form.

That appears to contradict your OP. Can you post a screen shot with the Default of the datacard showing?

If you have the date selected on a previous page and want to use that data, you need to put it in the Default, but only if the form is in the "New" mode. If it is in the "Edit" mode it should be ThisItem."Start Date"

here is the default for the datacard

So when the form is in New mode it defaults to Today() for the date. If you want it to use the previously selected date instead you need to replace Today() with StartDate.SelectedDate

    So this should work?

I can't tell what field  you are in, but that should use StartDate.SelectedDate as the default when the form is in New Mode. It looks like your default for that field when it is in Edit mode is EndDate, so that is why I'm a little confused as to what field you are on
