Using Recycle Bin (preview feature) with custom tables

I'm looking at the Recycle Bin feature which is currently in Preview (Restore deleted Microsoft Dataverse table records (preview) - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn)

When creating a standard custom table, the option to switch on Recycle Bin is disabled (greyed out).

It is enabled for other out-of-the-box tables such as Account and Contact. The environment level feature setting is also switched on.

Can anyone confirm that this feature should be available on standard custom tables that don't have a large number of columns? If not, will it be available after GA?

Can you help @Jim Daly@Dana Martens?

Thanks!
Matt

    Some tables are not supported as per MS doc. Please check below doc

    @ankit_singhal thanks for your reply.

    Yes, I have checked the docs. It doesn't specify that custom standard tables can't be used.

    Update: It looks as though the table, after it's created, will have Recycle Bin enabled (even though it's greyed out when initially creating it). Although this wasn't consistent across different tenants - maybe due to the region/environment/capacity/etc.
