I'm building a canvas app that I intend to be used in Kiosk mode (Guided Access) on an iPad. Since this is the only function of this iPad I would like to disable the PowerApps menu that comes up when you swipe right. Can that be done? I've looked around for the answer to this and going back to four years ago replies are saying you can't; has this changed since 2020?
In Kiosk mode you can disable parts of the screen to user touch. I would recommend setting up your app in such a way that everything is 30ish away from left and right sides of the ipad screen, then place a thin recrtangle on each side of the ipad that is untouchable, this will disable swiping. (You edit the locked area of screen via ipads kiosk settigns not IN the app)
Thank you for the suggestion. I've built margin areas in all of the screens in my canvas app. I can definitely add a transparent rectangle to the edges.
As for the "locked area of screen via ipads kiosk settings", I'm looking at the guided access options in the settings, where would I look to find settings for that?
