In my list I have a person field that looks up name and another that looks up email. Currently a person has to type in their name in the name field and their name in the email field. I know there has to be a way to only do one lookup and populate the email from the name.
So when I do the name lookup it will also populate the email field. Thanks in advance.
Hi @Bennettmt,
You can autofill the email text field with the email of the dropdown selection. If both are regular controls, you can change the Text property of the TextInput to ComboBoxName.Selected.Email (Change ComboBoxName to the correct name)
Should you use a Form control, you will first have to unlock the E-mail datacard by selecting the datacard, clicking advanced in the right property panel and press unlock. Afterwards go to the Default property of the email text input control and change it to DataCardValue1.Selected.Email (change DataCardValue1 to the correct name of the dropdown)
If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution & give it a thumbs up.
Thanks!
Thank you.
