Is it possible on the word template when doing XML mapping with data from dataverse to filter what has to be populated in word template for example:

in my transactions table i have data with status completed,started,not started and i want to retrieve in word template this data where status =completed. Is it possible?

Sorting and Filtering is not supported with OTB word templates , so you can go for SSRS report or Power automate and use the Word Connector to populate the template.

OK i got your idea maybe you also know if i am legit to do this:
I have per app license so the question can i use populate a word template connector and i will be legit or i need to buy power automate per user license anyway?

Yes you can use the premium connector with powerapps per app license, you can check my blog below but it was based on the old connector but still it is applicable on the dataverse connector

You can use the below link for report wizard for simple reports

If you need to add a logo or any other advanced stuff that you can't do using the report wizard you will need to setup visual studio and you can use the below link:

one last question about word templates:
I have set repeating in column section and i have a qty column. Can i add one more row to my column as Totals row and sum my qty so when user downloads report he already sees summarized data?
I have tried using SUM(ABOVE) but when i download this generate file the sum is 0. it only calculates correctly if i select this cell and press F9
