Search not working for some text columns

If I filter the column Client in Gallery, I get results:

However, if I filter any other column, like "Type of kits", nothing shows up.

Some formula, just changing the columns and this happens for several columns. There are records in both columns starting with "D".

The information is in an Excel table and all formatted as text.

Any idea why not every column can be filtered?

Thank you!

    Hi @JJR86,

    Are you receiving an error in the formula bar that the column is not recognized? With Excel and SharePoint spaces often have to be referenced by _x0020_:

    What you could also try is writing out the formula manually up to the last comma and see what Power Apps recommends: Search(Table1, "D", )

    I would expect it to be either "Typeofkits" or "Type_x0020_of_x0020_kits". (Also pay close attention to capitalization.)

    If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution & give it a thumbs up.

    Thanks!

    Unfortunately, that's not the issue. I have tried with the two suggestions and it is still not working.
    The column name used is the name suggested by PA:

    @JJR86,

    • What connector are you using? (OneDrive, Excel for Business, Imported Excel?)
    • How many rows does the list contain?

    @JJR86,

    Now that I think of it, this actually reminds me of the Excel for Business filtering bug with columns containing spaces.

    Could you try the following:

    Search(
     //note: makes the query non delegable
     RenameColumns(
     Table1,
     "Type of kits",
     "TypeOfKits"
     ),
     "D",
     "TypeOfKits"
    )

    (A delegable workaround would be not using spaces in the column names e.g. TypeOfKits)

    I originally learned about this bug when coming across @timl's blogpost. You can find more information about this bug in that post.

    If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution & give it a thumbs up.

    Thanks!

    It is indeed the spaces in the name of the columns. I'll just remove the spaces in the excel file.

    Thank you very much!
