GroupBy and search nested galleries

Hi All,

I have done GroupBy and I have assigned the values to nested galleries :

I have a products list which has Name, ProductNo, ProductionDate, Category etc.

I have done GroupBy - ProductNo assigned this to parent gallery, then in nested/child gallery I am showing Category,Name, ProductionDate etc.

I have textbox search which can be used to search ProductNo which works fine, but I am unable to implement search on Category,Name, ProductionDate etc as these values are in child/nested gallery.

Is there a way to achieve this ? I am open to have multiple search boxes or even ok to do it using one search box.

On screen Visible:  GroupBy( Products, "ProductNo", "GroupByProductNo" )

Parent - Gallery1 items: ThisItem.GroupByProductNo

(Nested/Child) - Gallery2 Labels : ThisItem.Category, ThisItem.Name

Please guide.

    Hi @jinivthakkar ,

    Should not your Gallery 1 Items be what you have in Screen OnVisible and your Gallery 2 Items what you have for Gallery 1 ? If so, try

    GroupBy(
     Filter(
     Products,
     StartsWith(
     Category,
     YourSearchBox.Text
     ) ||
     StartsWith(
     Name,
     YourSearchBox.Text
     )
     ),
     "ProductNo",
     "GroupByProductNo"
    )

    You cannot filter a date on a text box, but can with a date picker.

    @WarrenBelz Hi, Thanks for the reply. Using this I am able to search on Category and Name but when I add the ProductNo it does not work(last block of startswith)

    I want to have search with all 3 - Category, Name, ProductNo

     If(!IsBlank(txtSearch.Text),
     GroupBy(
     Filter(
     Products,
     StartsWith(
     Category,
     txtSearch.Text
     ) ||
     StartsWith(
     Name,
     txtSearch.Text
     ) ||
     StartsWith(
     ProductNo,
     txtSearch.Text
     )
     ),
     "ProductNo",
     "GroupByProductNo"
     ),
     GroupBy(
     ProductNo,
     "Title",
     "GroupByProductNo"
     )
    )
