Multi select Lookup field (Combo box)adding blank value automatically in canvas app power apps sharepoint

I have a multi-select lookup field in my canvas app which has a SharePoint list as a data source.

while loading it appends a blank value(Checked by default), but I don't have any empty values in my lookup source. Does anybody have any idea about why this empty blank value is added and how to get rid of this blank?

in the below image first 2 values are my lookup values and the third blank has been added and checked by default automatically

Did you happen to select can add values option in sharepoint list field? If so edit that property and remove it

    Hello,

It's an issue with multiple choice fields with combox in Mordern Forms, you can resolve it by replacing the DefaultSelectedItems property from [Parent.Default] tParent.Default

Keep in mind that Modern forms are allready in preview and may not be used in production applications

    Hi @BrittoSPJ,

I think the key to your issue is that you are using a modern combobox.

Modern controls are not that stable, sometimes it could not perform like a normal combobox. It is in preview, not a mature product yet.

Absolutely you could check the solution @DavidZoon provides, I think it may solve your problem.

    Hi David,

Thanks for your quick  solution  .

Anyways i am going to replace the control with classic combo box since its a preview one.

i have added a form control and mapped a SharePoint list as data source ,by default this control has been added so I did not noticed that this is a preview control and i will change the control to classic ,hope that will work without any issues

    Thanks for the information !!
