Sharing PowerApps with External User (Sandboxxed Envoironment)

Hello all, i was wondering if you can help me please. I am testing sharing a PowerApp with an external user, a user outside the company organisation. I have set them up as a guest user in Entra and done all the usually security permissions etc.

The app is in a sandboxxed envoironment.

The app is super simple just to test this process. Simple data submition across an on premise connection.

I have shared the app from the 'Share' menu in powerapps. I have tried sharing just the user and a User Group (which contains the user) but no matter what happens the external user when signed into powerapps can see the sandboxxed envoironment.

Question, can external users (outside the company) see sandboxxed envoironments?
I have waited 48 hours and still cannot see the envoironment.

I am out of ideas so throwing this out to the community for help please.

Thank you.

Question, can external users (outside the company) see sandboxxed environments?

    No.

If you enable the steps mentioned in the article below, they can access the apps shared with them, and it doesn't need to access the environment.

I'm unsure why they want to see environments unless you want them to build apps.

If you want them to build the apps in the environment, then you need to enable the setting at the tenant level.

    Hello @Sulako,

If all you want to achieve is simply sharing the app with your external user, you could simply share the app link with them after you have shared the app and data sources themselves. Here's a description: https://www.jumpto365.com/blog/send-a-link-to-a-power-app-in-an-email-or-communication

When they are trying to access the app through make.powerapps.com, they might have to "Switch directory" to see apps/environments in your tenant:

If they are using the mobile app for Power Apps, they may have to switch tenants: https://powerapps.microsoft.com/de-de/blog/switch-directories-in-power-apps-mobile/
