Query an Audit Table via the Dataverse Endpoint SQL Connection

I have a table with auditing enabled. I have edited records and can see changes in the App (by clicking Related > Audit History on a given record)

I can also see the latest version of table using the Dataverse Endpoint SQL Connection (in Power BI and SSMS) but I can't see the audit history of that table

Is it possible to query the audit history of a table? and if so how?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @edondata ,

I was going to work on a reply but this explains very well so thought I would share:  https://dynamics-chronicles.com/article/dynamics-365-audit-explanation-deep-dive

Thanks @dpoggemann. It seems from the article that the audit history from many tables is collected in 1 table called dbo.AuditBase. So that should work fine. The problem is I can't see dbo.AuditBase though via SSMS or Power BI. Any idea what I need to change?

    Hi @edondata,

Looked as well and not visible in tables to choose from for Online, only on-premises environments...

Please see the following for a work-around:

Hopefully this works for you.  If so, please accept solution and if helps somewhat, please Like.

    Thanks,

    Drew
