<Error>
<Code>BlobNotFound</Code>
<Message>The specified blob does not exist. RequestId:901e-002a-5d99-fb4d2c000000 Time:2021-02-05T08:36:29.6925404Z</Message>

I got the solution for the same. I removed the attachment field from the form and re-added it and now it is working. Thanks

I found the same "blob" problem when users tried to download an attachment.  Funny thing is, the app worked fine in preview mode but would not work in running mode.  I deleted the attachment control and replaced it with all of the same properties and now the app works fine.  Thank you for this tip.

I deleted the attachment control and re-added it multiple times and it still doesn't work. The app works fine in preview mode.

This issue popped up today but was working fine previously. In Preview, it would try to open, but the browser download control said it couldn't find the file. In the published app, we were seeing an error formatted in XML that the file couldn't be found. Opening the list item and opening attachments from there worked fine. I had customized the Attachment control so I wanted replacing that to be a last resort. I was able to get it working by removing the SP connection in my App, and then adding it back. Published and now it works in the app and in Preview. Hope this helps others hitting this issue.

Didn't work for me. There is fix for this where you can set the Value Property of the attahcment card but my attachment card has no such property.

See other people mentioning its missing as well.

@GordonMcCulloch The Value property is in on the Advanced tab of the Attachment control, not the data card.

Not there either. The Name/DisplayName/FileName and Value fields are completely gone. I can no longer use the attachment control the way I could. The workaround I had to employ is to add a Form in view mode and then filter on the selected row of a gallery that has documents, then click the file icon to download - one at a time. Not sure if Microsoft is even aware of what they did. There is no way I have found out to download attachments including taking the download URL from Model-driven app file field. It works for just me but to my users it shows error.

    Hello,

I was able to get this fixed. I made a quick video to show how.

    Thanks

@PeterTadrous Thanks for the demo video.

What I am trying to do is outside and without a Form.

I would like to add an attachment control into a gallery and then use the 'file' field from the table to show the in the control. Basically a list with each row has a file attachment control to download it.

BTW- I replicated your demo structure but I still could not see "filename" or "value" under the advanced tab of the attachment control.

I am using "File" type column and need that for download.

    here are some screen shots:

    No download:

No option to add filename or value:

And here's one how I am envisioning for my users to download files but the there is still not "Filename" or "Value" field:

If it helps to diagnose, I am on version 3.24031.26 of web-based PA.

    thank you 🙂
