Microsoft Copilot Studio, Included in 365 E3 License or Not?

From my research, Copilot is supposed to be included in the 365 E3 license for enterprises. I did register for a free 30-day trial of Power Virtual Agents before discovering this though, but now my trial is coming to an end, and I am getting notices to look at pricing or my account will close and my bots deleted. When I click to see pricing it says it is already included, but I am anxious that my bots are going to be deleted in error when the trial ends. I'm only using one user for this license, and power apps is enabled. Would someone mind clarifying for me how to proceed so I do not lose my work?

Microsoft 365 Copilot users require a license for Microsoft 365 E3 or Microsoft 365 E5, and a license for Microsoft 365 Copilot. But that does not include Copilot Studio. Copilot Studio is a rebranding and expansion of Power Virtual Agents and is covered by the PVA license, not the Office 365 E3 license.

I had a free trial running for Power Virtual Agents but now that it's covered under Microsoft Copilot Studio do I need to get that lincense separately? Because I can't create a bot with copilot

It should be the same license. Not sure where you are creating the bot from. When I go to PowerVirtualAgents.Microsoft.com and Sign in I get this screen.

What's the URL where you are seeing the menu above?

Actually that's not where I am facing the error. I am getting the same window after signing in but when I create a new copilot and got to the topics window, I am not able to create a topic with copilot, I can only create it manually.
Also, while creating new copilot when I enter the reference website and ask question from that website, I am getting similar error.
So I think the error is only about the copilot extensions. Is that right?

At Microsoft's Ignite event in Seattle last year, it was announced that Copilot Studio was on the same SKU as Microsoft 365 Copilot. As such, my understanding was that if everyone in my organisation had Copilot licences, we would also be able to use Copilot Studio and customised Copilots that had been created with Copilot Studio. Has this policy of having Copilot Studio on the same SKU as Microsoft 365 Copilot changed?

That is still true, but the original question was whether Copilot Studio was included in a Microsoft 365 E3 license. That's not the same license as Microsoft 365 Copilot. Copilot Studio should be included in Microsoft 365 Copilot license. Just not in the Microsoft 365 general license.

Indeed you're right: I had misunderstood the original question to mean "Copilot Studio licence on top of E3", when that was not what the question was about. Your answer clears everything up. It is good to be reassured that a licence for Copilot Studio is indeed included within a licence for Microsoft 365 Copilot.
