How to block input? Preventing users from changing previous text

Hi Community

I made my app but I have to make 1 final change. Employees have now filled in question 1, 2, 3 and "datum" (see yellow marked in picture below). Now we as managers have to fill in the remaining boxes in the red outlined part (see picture).

However I want to make sure that we as managers cannot change the text in questions 1,2,3 and "datum". I want it to be blocked.

How do I do that?

    Hi @Bensen ,

May I ask if the Data will be saved in the Data Source after Employees filled in the question?

If Yes, please try this in the DisplayMode of the Text input:

    If(TextInput.Text = ThisItem.ColumnName,DisplayMode.Disabled,DisplayMode.Edit)

    Hope this will help you,

    Best Regards,
    Tina

    Hi  @Bensen

This is done by editing the Set the DisplayMode property to DisplayMode.View.

Then you need to have some way of setting the DisplayMode.View for only the managers.

Try this for the text boxes:

    Hi @Bensen ,

May I ask if the data soure have the same data in this Record?

You can try this formula to see if the formula "DisplayMode.Disabled" work or not:

    If(true,DisplayMode.Disabled,DisplayMode.Edit)

    Hope this will help you,

    Best Regards,
    Tina
