Add a Chatbot to a tab in a channel

Hello Power Virtual Agent Community,

I hope you can help, please.

I've created a Chatbot in Microsoft Teams. The users of my team can use the Chatbot, but only when they go to "Apps" in Microsoft Teams and then add it. This makes the Chatbot appear in the left hand pane in Teams.

Am I able to add a Chatbot as a tab within a channel in a team please? I can't see how to do this.

Hi @GarryPope,

As far as I am aware you can't add this as a tab.

If you want to interact with a bot from a team channel you should be able to find it via @ with the name of the bot or via the Get Bots in the new conversation input field:

It's a shame it can't be on a tab, but maybe they will introduce this at a later date.
