"DateTime is less than minumum value supported by CrmDateTime. Actual value: 01/01/0001 00:00:00, Minimum value supported: 01/01/1753

Hi, I'm new to Power Apps.

 

I'm using Dataflows to get data from DB.

But I have many errors below.

"DateTime is less than minumum value supported by CrmDateTime. Actual value: 01/01/0001 00:00:00, Minimum value supported: 01/01/1753

 

There is no way to change the source data to the correct value.

Is there any way to avoid this error? Maybe changing in the Dataflows?

    Hi there, based on your message and the error you are getting I am assuming that the value being returned from the database is outside the valid range of dates for the DateTime data type - either it is formatted differently or is not a valid value. To avoid this error, you could try converting the date values in your Dataflow to a format that is supported by the DateTime type. - "yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ssZ"

    @LaurenWithers poster is trying to insert 01/01/0001 date, the earliest date that Dataverse will accept is 1753

     

    @H-Jun system limitation can only store back to 1753 - only workaround is to store the data-time in a text field (or extract its parts into separate fields, or offset the year e.g. add 1800 to the year) - none of which are ideal.

    limiation Is mentioned in the Note at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/developer/data-platform/behavior-format-date-time-attribute

     

    If the source value is actually null - you can try splitting your source into null and non-null datasets, and for the null dataset don't map the date field.
