SafeAreaPadding

Hola comunidad,

A bit of research suggests that App.SafeAreaPadding is part of the “Optimized displays for iOS and Android devices” feature mentioned in Wave 1 2025 and is still in a preview or phased rollout stage, even in the latest environments. Some capabilities are not yet fully available in all regions or tenants, even in Developer environments.

According to Microsoft's standard feature release cycle, some announced features (even with documentation) may lag behind in deployment or require manual opt-in or a special preview environment. As of version 3.25063.6 (June 2025), App.SafeAreaPadding is not recognized yet in most tenants.

The property is not listed in IntelliSense/autocomplete, and referencing it directly produces an error, as you’ve experienced and is expected to become available once the optimized display feature reaches general availability — likely in a near-future update.
