Bug in column type / field

Hi. I am following the PowerUp programme. I am working on creating tables and forms and a model driven app. For one of the tables, we had to edit a primary column type to an Autonumber - which I did. In. the column view, it appears as such. However, when I go to the Main form and I add the column above - it appears as "single-line text". As such, when I go to "play" the app, I cannot save the form as this field thinks it needs to be populated as it was a required field, even though it should be autocompleting....

I have tried to remove the column to create a new one, but can't as it is a primary column. Then I tried creating an other column as an autonumber and adding this to the form to see how it behaved and I got the same thing. The form considered it as a field with a single-line text. I have tried editing multiple times to no avail.

Thank you.

Primary column as a Autonumber Datatype, it should work if you removed the mandatory.

Autonumber will populate after the form is saved.

    Thanks,

Hi. Sorry - I also tried this, No change. It refuses to update in the form view - continuing to see the field as a single-line text.
