Hello All,

I 'am facing an issue with my power automate flow.

I build an application from power apps to add attachments in SharePoint Document Library.
I implemented users permissions in SharePoint as follow :
  • All Users can access to the SharePoint Site
  • One user (Site Owner) have full control
  • Others : Only view and add file in document library

All permission work perfectly in SharePoint.
I tried to upload file from Power Apps Using Power automate to connect with SharePoint but it always return access denied.

In addition to that, SharePoint allows me to create folder but not a file.

Thank for responses.

Try adding "Edit Items" - a Flow I suspect has multiple actions after creating that maybe interpreted as Editing. This would certainly be the case if you are adding metadata after you created the file.

I think the flow needs Edit Items permissions on the list.
Please try that. ( make sure flow owner has that access).
consider using service account for the flow.

That is strange - another option is to select the Flow, then Run-only users from the right panel. Change the drop-down to your connection or a Service Account.
This will run the Flow from that account rather than the account of the user.

Agree with you , It's very strange.

This option "Run Only User" was my first option that I set when I got the error with access.
Some point may help , Instead of using power apps as trigger, I changed to "When  an HTTP request is received", and all files was successfully created on SharePoint.

since you made it work via 'When an HTTP request is received', not sure which option you choose 'Who can trigger the flow'.
    I think it's still the identity/connection.
Please double check the failed run, confirm the actual connection used in it.
