Issue Updating Dataverse Rows with GUID

Posted on by 42

Hello everyone,

I am encountering a problem when trying to update records in Dataverse via Power Automate. I am attempting to update a row using its GUID, but I keep receiving the error message "not found," even though the GUID is correct and accessible.

Here are the details of my setup:

  • I am using the "Update a Row" action in Power Automate.
  • The GUID I am using is in the correct format (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx).
  • The GUID is saved in a variable.
  • I am entering the GUID in the following format: /<tablename>(<GUID>).
  • I also tried /<tablename_plural>/<GUID>
  • I also tried the dynamic content 'OData ID'
  • The table name is accurately specified (including case sensitivity).
  • I have verified that the GUID corresponds to an existing record, and I have the necessary permissions to access the table.

Despite these checks, I continue to receive the "NOT FOUND" error. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue or suggestions for additional steps to identify the root cause of the error.

Thank you in advance!
