Radio Buttons Do Not Reset to Blank Value

I have a canvas app with a modern form and controls, connected to a SharePoint Online list.
The form displays items based on a gallery.
Whenever I click on the New button to set the form into New mode, radio buttons retain previous values randomly, or perhaps from the previously selected gallery item.
The modern Radio control does not have a reset property, but I tried the classic control with similar results.
This seems to be a bug in both classic and modern controls.

Any ideas?

Here's an overview of the setup:
  • Data: SharePoint list - Employees
  • Gallery1:
    • Items: Employees
  • Form1: frm_Main_MS
    • DataSource: Employees
    • Item: Gallery1.Selected
  • New Button:
    • NewForm(frm_Main_MS)
  • Radio Control:
    • Items: Choices([@'Employees'].Priority) // SharePoint Choice column
    • DefaultSelectedItems: [Parent.Default]
      // For DefaultSelectedItems I tried the below to no avail:
      If(!IsBlank([Parent.Default]), [Parent.Default], Blank())

    Hi,

    NewForm function set the form mode only. If the form is a 'NewForm', the SubmitForm function gonna create a new record. It doesn't impact default value. So, if you set form item to Gallery1.Selected and default value of checkbox is Parent.Default, you gonna have values.

    I suggest you to set a variable with the employee selected when you want to edit, and you set that variable to Blank() when you want to create a new one. Then, you set Form Item to that variable. It should do the trick :).

    I hope it helps!

    It should not show any content in new mode, but you may be able to force it like this
    If(
       frm_Mail_MS.Mode <> FormMode.New,
       ThisItem.Priority
    )

    Thank you @WarrenBelz and @GabGadou
    Unfortunately, none of the suggestions worked. The radios are randomly selected, although the control value is blank as evidenced by the required column validation:

    Also, wouldn't the NewForm trigger reset the form automatically?
