Hello,

I am experiencing a critical issue with my Copilot Studio agent and need urgent assistance - the agent has stopped using knowledge sources.

Issue Details:

The issue began yesterday.
Many agents in my environments has this issue, not just one.
Symptoms: The agent is unable to use its knowledge sources to answer questions it previously could. It responds with "I don't have the knowledge" even though the test UI shows that it retrieved the relevant sources.
Knowledge Sources Affected: All knowledge sources, including local files, SharePoint directories, and RAG using Azure AI Search.

Environment:

Platforms: The issue occurs in both Teams and the Copilot Studio UI test environment.
Configuration: No recent changes or updates have been made to the setup.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

I have tried reconnecting the knowledge sources, but the issue persists.
There are no error messages or logs indicating the cause of the problem.
When I create a new agent using the same knowledge sources (e.g., the same SharePoint directory), the new agent is able to use the knowledge correctly.

Hi,
I got the same issue in Microsoft copilot studio when activating the Code interpreter. Deactivating it again gives my agent access to the Knowledge. Any idea why?
Agents in the M365 cloud agent builder finds it Knowledge files with Code interpreter activating.
I prefer the Microsoft copilot studio due to being able to select GPT-5 deep reasoning, which sadly isn't possible in the M365 cloud agent builder.

I have the same issue. the agent is clearly not working properly.

Here is the question and answer from the agent.

Here is the document that has those details included in knowledge base which the studio ignores.

I tried using different synonymns like employee and staff, but the response is same.

Can anyone answer or direct me to a path on how i can debug this situation.

It is urgent, any help is highly appreciated.

We are facing same issue without any changes. Seems any agent in this tenant can't reach any knowledge even a public website.
Did you manage to find a solution?
