Flow not updated in solution within Copilot Studio

Hi,

I would like to add an agent flow to an existing solution. I clicked the three dots on the left and selected Solutions. The flows listed in Cloud Flow were outdated; it shows a flow was updated three months ago, but it was actually updated just a few minutes ago and was still using the old name (the name changed a few days ago). I ended up adding the flow to the solution from Power Automate, where everything was up today.

The issue you describe with outdated flow information in the Solutions view of Power Automate is a known behavior related to caching or synchronization delays in the Power Platform admin center or maker portal.

Here are some tips:

The Solutions view sometimes shows stale metadata about flows, such as last modified date or flow name, due to caching or replication delays.

The Power Automate main portal (https://flow.microsoft.com) usually reflects the most up-to-date flow information.

When you add a flow to a solution, it’s best to do so from the Power Automate portal where the latest flow version and name are visible.

If you see discrepancies, refreshing the browser, clearing cache, or waiting a short time can help sync the data.

For critical updates, always verify the flow version and name in the Power Automate portal before adding it to a solution.

You did the right thing. The Solutions view inside Copilot Studio can show stale flow data and does not always reflect recent changes immediately. Microsoft has a known issues page that confirms flows can fail to appear or display incorrectly in Copilot Studio interfaces, and managing flows directly from Power Automate is the reliable workaround.

Adding flows to a solution from Power Automate instead of from within Copilot Studio is the way to go when you run into this.
