We have used the power app book a room template to create our room reservation app. It connects to a room resource list in exchange. We are in the central time zone. The app is using the Time Zone offset to address issues with UTC vs. our local time, Central Standard Time. Everything is working fine, except 1 thing. When the organizer opens the reservation in their own calendar, it shows UTC time zone instead of CST. All other notifications, calendar events and views show the correct CST time. It's only when the Organizer of the reservation, and ONLY the organizer of the reservation opens the calendar event in the edit screen that it shows UTC....are there any ways to fix this? We've tried just about everything we can think of to no avail. All our systems and rooms and resource working hours are the same, Central Standard Time. UTC is only showing in this one spot, but it's confusing to our users. Help!
I can suggest some small things perhaps, I'd expect that particular field to be the problem from your description, if it's for each current user on the edit part. Does the screen change, or the component change in some way when you go to edit?
I guess you've checked the Powerfx of the appropriate property of that field - and that it's also not a different field appearing for an edit version? Check it's setting the date time zone offset correctly as the other date/time fields show?
In your environment, have you checked to see if the preferred date-time format/region of in user personal settings is correct as well?
Hope this helps,
Ryan
