Multiple choice not working – bot replies “I didn’t understand” after selecting Yes or No

Hi everyone,

Today we noticed an issue with a multiple choice card in Power Virtual Agents / Copilot Studio.

We have a question where the bot displays two buttons: “Yes” and “No”.

No matter which option the user selects, the bot always replies:
“Sorry, I didn’t understand.”
The flow does not continue. This block was working perfectly before and hasn't been modified.

We’ve tried:

Verifying that the button values exactly match the expected conditions.

Replacing the entire block with a new one.

Changing the text, using boolean values, and simplifying the logic.

Nothing seems to fix it.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Could it be a recent service-side problem?

Hi @oriolvillorbina

A couple of thoughts as yeah it could definitely be on the service side

1. Can you please share your topic configuration, as I am assuming that's what you mean when you say "flow"

2. does it work in Test mode?

3. Can you check the activities tab, to look at the specific Flow to see what it did when it was interacted with, it would be good to see the Tracking of the flow activity in the UI, as it will really help us see what it was doing and WHY it went how it did.
