Best practice to Parse or Comprehend information stored within Powerpoint using Copilot

I have developed a Copilot Studio agent that can read multiple files from a SharePoint location. The agent accurately interprets Word documents and text-based content within PowerPoint presentations. However, when using GPT‑5 as the underlying LLM, the agent is unable to extract or interpret information from graphical screenshots embedded in PowerPoint slides, including screenshots that contain text.

    Hi there!

    That is a known limitation of GPT‑5 in Copilot Studio. If you need to perform that kind of analysis, you’ll have to use GPT‑4.1 together with the code interpreter.
