Is it possible to use an environment variable in a URL link inside the Model‑Driven App navigation pane, so that the URL automatically changes based on the environment?

Hello @JJ-27101724-0,

No, In a Model-Driven App, the navigation pane URL does not support environment variables.

Workarounds:
#1. Use a custom page / web resource that reads an environment variable and then redirects to the correct URL.
#2. Use a Power Apps Custom Page and build the link dynamically using Dataverse data (including environment variables).
#3. Maintain separate app versions per environment and update the URL manually (simple, but less elegant).

Hello @JJ-27101724-0,

Unfortunately, the Navigation link component is a static value.

A workaround for this is to create a custom page and use the Launch function within the OnStart property as it will allow you to use the environment variable.
