Hi Builders,

How to restricts users who's item permission is revoked .

  1. Admin Person  assign Person 1 as Approver  . (Email Trigger with link to open , Person 1 opens and Click and Power app opens and values of the filed are loading ) Person 1 click s Return button
  2. On Return , it comes back to Admin Person.
  3. Now the Person 1 have NO ITEM PERMISSION after return and goes back to the email and clicks the  old link from email again ,
  4.  Now the Link takes person 1 to the blank page with no field values loaded. (Which is not correct, So here how do i show NO PERMISSION BOX to person 1 )

So user do not have permission but still uses the old open link to access the Power app form, Which should not be allowed , So at this case how do i show alert to user No permission  / under what scenario the defult restriction mesg popup ?

Kindly share your thought and suggestion

    Need more information.

    1. What type of app? Canvas, Model, Power Pages, Custom SharePoint Form?
    1. What form? please share your application
    2. What permissions? How are you defining permissions (roles, security Groups?, Teams? what?)

I am going to stop there as you haven't explained what permissions means and that is the complete important detail to tell you.

What I will say is this.

If you are using any tangible "security" model, you can definitely load a persons security roles and groups and when they try to open the form using an old link, it can check and then, (options for example), show them a "screen/form/page" that just says, "This link is expired you do not have access to leverage this" for example.

So I am going to say yes, is probable, but need to understand your security model and flow model and app.

    Cheers!

I assume that you develop a Model-driven app, as @Michael E. Gernaey said, the info you provide is not enoug.
when Person1 assigned as Approver, I would say he/she should always have the access to the Item/records. when the user approve the item and if the link is clicked again, it should show to Person 1, it is already approved by Person 1. and he/she should have the access of the approved record list, some records if not processed by next step, Person 1 should have the access to mark the item as 'not approved'
Unless they left the company. but Hi, you have your own story. please provide more detail if you need more help.
