Pdf viewer is not working properly

Hi all,

I'm working on a PowerApps application where I generate PDF files and store them in a SharePoint document library. I use a gallery to display a list of these PDF files, and when a I selects the latest one, I want to show a preview in the PowerApps PDF Viewer.

The issue I'm facing is that sometimes the PDF Viewer displays a blank screen. The gallery correctly shows the newly added PDFs, and when I hover over the link, I can confirm that the PDF Viewer is getting the correct PDF link, but it still shows nothing. It seems like the PDF Viewer is not refreshing properly or is caching the older file. When I refresh the whole page, the PDF Viewer displays the file correctly.

Does anyone know how we can fix this issue?

You will notice that the PDF Viewer is still experimental.

It still has many bugs and inconsistencies and really should not be relied upon in Prod apps unless it does everything for your particular needs.

Do you have any idea when this PDF viewer will be reliable?

I previously used the Onenote activity "Get pages for a specific section" to display content in a Power App. (using a power automate flow)

As this activity don't get the image content anymore I had to export the pages to html in a folder and used this content in de html viewer.

But as these html pages requires that the images are all embedded in the HTML pages this solution is not straightforward. (New html pages need to be converted).

The ideal solution for me is to work with Word documents that can be embedded in my App using the PDF viewer. But as this viewer don't always shows the content it is not usable in production.
