Developer Environments instead of Sandbox

Hello,

I have a question about developer environments. I can create these as an admin, the documentation says that these environments are normally only used by the owner (i.e. one person). Can many developers theoretically also develop in this environment?
Are there any limits in terms of the number of users or storage space in which these environments differ from sandboxes, for example?
Developer environments are not reducing my database capacity, right?
What would prevent me from creating my dev sandbox environments as developer environments to save capacity?

It would be great to get some advice on this! :)

Hi,

- The user owner or a power platform admin in your tennat can add users in the environmente and assign them security roles to develop.
- No limits of users but there are limites about Storage: 2 Gb

- Dataverse consumption from these environments does not consume tenant capacity.

- You can use developer environmentes perfectly to developer if these limits are ok for your propose
