Hello Dynamics community,
I’m relatively new to Power Apps / Dynamics 365 and want to build a single dashboard under My Work → Dashboards that behaves like the out-of-the-box “My Dashboard” but with these requirements:
Personalized on load
Every grid, sub-grid or chart automatically filters to records owned or related to the current user
Ability to switch later to show all (general) records
Multiple entities & KPIs
A grid of my open Tasks
A chart of my Tasks by due date
A KPI tile showing total hours I’ve logged this week
A list of my top 5 high-priority items
Single dashboard experience
I don’t want to maintain two almost-identical dashboards (one personal and one system-wide)
Ideally lives under My Work → Dashboards, so each user can find and pin it
Is it possible to build one dashboard that dynamically filters by the current user on load?
What techniques or tutorials should I follow
Has anyone solved a similar requirement, or can point me to a step-by-step example?
Also this is an issue I'm having: I have one dashboard added but it still lists them all:
