Format of text input field in a form set in view mode

I have a form in view mode, and one of the text inputs is for phone numbers. Is there away for the input field, while in view mode, to display with a certain format? See the embedded screen capture below taken from my PowerApps application (data is in a SharePoint list):

I would like the text to display more like a phone number: 709-111-2222.

Here is the Default setting:

And here is the Format setting:

It seems my various attempts are not working, for example. Text(TextFormat.Text, "000-000-0000")

Maybe this is not even possible?

Hi @kristinegriba

So 1 issue is you are using Text as the input to the Formatting. It has to be a number.

So wrap your TextFormt.Text like this

Value(TextFormat.Text)

In my example, i have a text input where i typed the number you shared.

Then you can see my Formatting in the second Text Inputs, Text Field

Or in your case the Format Property

Hi,

Here is my answer to the forum question.

Set the Default property of the Text Input to Text(Value(ThisItem.Phone), "###-###-####"), where ThisItem.Phone represents the phone number field.
