Assuming it just doesn't work (like so much in this platform). Anyone have a clue? Copilot sent me on a goose chase.

    It works, but since you don't show or explain what MCP server you are trying to connect to, I can only offer limited assistance. Although, I also have very limited experience with this as well. However, here is an MCP server that does not require a key or login: Microsoft Learn MCP Server | Awesome MCP Servers. In Copilot Studio you would add it like this:
     
    It will then take a few minutes to process, and it will be available in your agent:
