Local PowerApps and Flow User Group Spotlight: Minneapolis, MN

 

User Group Spotlight – this week we would like to showcase one of our local user groups that continuously brings their members together to share knowledge and bring awareness around the PowerApps and Flow platforms – the Minneapolis PowerApps and Flow User Group led by Alexis Bruno. For their next meeting they will be bringing in a Microsoft speaker to discuss the Power Platform licensing changes occurring in October.

Her passion is to help business users improve their current processes to improve productivity and had always loved using InfoPath but was very excited to switch over and start using PowerApps.  She became the leader of the Minneapolis user group approximately 9 months ago and is giving back to her local community by bringing the PowerApps and Flow members together regularly to discuss important topics.

This session will a brief overview of the capabilities changes being rolled out in October across the Power Platform, followed by an overview of the licensing changes that are also happening at the same time.

In this session, we will go over the challenges and pitfalls you may encounter as you bring low code development platforms such as Microsoft’s PowerApps and Flow into your organization. This strategy session will discuss governance, security, development frameworks, and establishing a center of excellence.
