💡 What Is Sentiment Analysis in Power Automate?

Sentiment analysis lets your flow read a piece of text (a message, a review, a comment) and determine whether it sounds:

  • 😊 Positive
  • 😐 Neutral
  • 😠 Negative

Power Automate gives you three ways to do this:

  • Analyze positive or negative sentiment in text (prebuilt AI action)
  • Run a prompt → select “AI Sentiment” (ready-to-use AI prompt)
  • Run a prompt → custom prompt for sentiment (fully personalized)

They all read your text and try to guess how someone’s feeling — but each has its own superpower. Let’s go through them one by one.
