Join us for our next Edmonton Power Platform User Group meeting on Thursday June 23, 2022 at 12 PM MT! We will be joined by Microsoft MVP Drew Poggemann to talk about Virtual Connector Providers.
This new capability is a true game changer for model-based Power Apps to quickly connect to other data sources outside of Dataverse with full CRUD capabilities. This really opens up possibilities to extend on existing data sources within Power Apps without requiring integration of data. Currently Microsoft has added three virtual connector providers including SQL Server, Microsoft Excel Online (Business) and Microsoft SharePoint transforming the time it takes to create Virtual Tables from a couple days to about 8 minutes!

Drew Poggemann
Drew has spent the last almost 30 years architecting custom applications, deploying ERP / CRM systems and for the past nine years focused on Microsoft Technologies. Drew fell in love with Power Apps before it was Power Apps with xRM with a focus on model-based Power Apps and the Dataverse. Drew was awarded Microsoft MVP in Business Applications in April 2022.
