Hello, I'm new to this group and to PowerApps..Power platform. Most of my career has been in database web development However, I will be retiring in a couple of years and am looking into learning something new for future employment. I have spent some time in PowerApps and have built some personal applications using SharePoint as my data source. I've built a home finance system, Time management system and a work order system for work, but I have only touched the surface of all that the power platform has to offer. I am in the process of doing research on certifications in this area and getting certified starting with the pl-900. Because of my age, I'm a little concerned about my heritability the that fact that there is so much to learn, but I'm hoping the learning curve won't be as much as it was when I was a full stack developer on the .net side of things, which I have been out of for over nine years now. Any thoughts from anyone in the group to this newbie and his woes. Although, I am really enjoying learning about and utilizing the skills that I have been acquiring in PowerApps, just a bit scared about future employment due to my age. I am 63, but people have told me that I look like I'm in my 40s still and I have plenty of energy and ambition for the future. I would love to be involved in a group that have supporting members.
