Hi All,

I have a mailroom App on an iPad. The iPad is Generation 6 IOS 17.1.

When the iPad was updated to IOS 17 the scanner in the App stopped scanning Barcodes, it still scans QR Codes. Unfortunately, UPS and FedEx and all other carriers use Barcodes on their labels.

I saw a post about the scanners stopping on the iPad IOS 17, and was hoping someone had the same issue, and there is a workaround or a way to get the scanner to work again.

Hi All,

I have an app that scans the barcodes of all packages arriving and leaving the mail room of my building.

The other day the iPad must have been upgraded to IOS 17x, and the barcode scanner stopped scanning barcodes. It will still scan QR codes with no issue. (sadly, delivery labels are barcodes)

As a test we used an older iPad with IOS 15x and the App worked, unfortunately, the tech that setup the new(old) iPad updated to 17x and the scanner stopped working.

Does anyone know of a workaround for this?

I'm currently working on developing a tool within the Power Platform that allows users to upload Excel files. The Power App or Power Platform solution will then validate the data in the uploaded Excel file (via Oracle DB connector) and generate two separate Excel files:

1. A validation summary Excel file.
2. A template Excel file ready for uploading to our database.

I'm curious to know if it's possible to achieve this functionality using the Power Platform.
