We are PowerStackers, a group of likeminded Remote-First Power Platform Professionals. We believe that Power Platform provides a unique Opportunity to Remote-First professionals worldwide!

We want to help other Remote-First folks explore Power Platform Careers Opportunities. We wish to help Remote-First Power Platform Engineers become Full-stack (i.e. become PowerStackers) across all Power Platform Technologies, viz. IEW Volunteering: Detailed Instructions & FAQ for Institutes and Students

Instructions for IEW Volunteering

1. Registration & Community Participation

Students must register for IEW as students, not as employees or company representatives.
All volunteers must join the Power Stackers community, managed by Acclerotech.
Learning materials (blog, videos, solution demos) will be provided only through the Power Stackers community forum.

2. Learning & Preparation

Volunteers are required to study the energy industry’s 8 sectors, their priorities, and 24 AI solutions relevant to these sectors.
Daily one-hour Q&A sessions will be held to clarify concepts and answer questions.
Volunteers must review the provided blog and videos and participate in quizzes and discussions.
Links are provided at the end of the post.

3. Volunteering Activities at IEW

Each day, volunteers will receive one letter per assigned company/stall, along with an envelope for distribution.
Volunteers work in pairs, visit assigned stalls, and present the letter and a business card for Nilesh (Head of Customer Success).
Volunteers introduce themselves as students and Power Stackers community members, explain the purpose, and submit the letter.
After each visit, volunteers must fill out a form detailing the company, contact person, discussion summary, and their own commentary.
Daily debrief sessions will be held to review progress and address concerns.

4. Social Media & Documentation

Volunteers must post at least 2-3 LinkedIn updates per day, tagging Acclerotech and the visited company, and use provided social media tags.
All images and videos should be uploaded to a designated SharePoint folder.
Volunteers must follow and promote Acclerotech’s LinkedIn page.

5. Certification & Recognition

Upon completion, volunteers will receive a certificate and badge for LinkedIn.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Do not claim to represent Acclerotech; always introduce yourself as a student and community volunteer.
Do not share learning materials directly; always access and refer to content via the Power Stackers community.
Do not skip the daily debrief or Q&A sessions.
Do not forget to fill out the post-visit form after each stall interaction.
Do not miss required LinkedIn posts or fail to use the correct tags.
Do not provide technical details you are unsure of; refer such queries to Nilesh.
Do not leave letters at stalls unattended—ensure you speak to a company representative.
Do not discuss or negotiate any financial matters; all costs are the responsibility of the student.

FAQ for IEW Volunteering

Q1: Is volunteering mandatory for IEW student attendees?

No, volunteering is optional and not a requirement for conference attendance.

Q2: What is the main benefit of volunteering?

Volunteers gain exposure to industry problems, AI solutions, customer interaction, and receive a certificate and badge.

Q3: Are volunteers representing Acclerotech?

No, volunteers act as independent students and community members, not company representatives.

Q4: What if a company asks technical questions?

Volunteers should answer basic questions about Power Platform and refer detailed queries to Nilesh via the provided business card/email.

Q5: Is there any financial support for travel, registration, or accommodation?

No financial support is provided; all costs are borne by the students.

Q6: How are daily activities coordinated?

Letters and instructions are distributed at scheduled meetings; progress is tracked via forms and WhatsApp group.

Q7: What should be included in LinkedIn posts?

Posts should mention volunteering, tag Acclerotech and the visited company, and include event photos/videos.

Q8: How is learning material accessed?

All materials are available only through the Power Stackers community forum; direct sharing is not allowed.

Q9: What is the process for feedback or concerns?

Use the WhatsApp group for questions; Priya and Navitha moderate and escalate as needed.

Q10: What is the timeline for preparation and volunteering?

Preparation includes daily calls and study sessions leading up to the event; volunteering activities occur during the conference days.

Hi sir,

I had a doubt while creating the agent for email automation in the tools section we will have to make the tools by using azure or office 365 right because without tools I will not be able to go ahead same with the agents right
