🛠️ Role Overview & Responsibilities

Design and develop complex applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven) and Power Automate
Build integrations with SharePoint, Dataverse or SQL backends
Propose and set up enterprise-grade data storage (Data Lake / Databricks)
Collaborate with business stakeholders, gather requirements, and convert into flowcharts
Lead design reviews, architect solutions, and ensure compliance
Support UAT, manage change requests, and drive product delivery

✅ Mandatory Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s (B.Tech) or MCA
Minimum 5 lead‑role projects on Power Apps & Power Automate
Strong knowledge of SQL Server
Expertise in Canvas and Model‑driven apps
Advanced capability in designing complex flows in Power Automate

Microsoft’s analog optical computer cracks two practical problems and shows AI promise

🔬 What Is an Analog Optical Computer?
Unlike traditional digital computers that rely on binary logic and electrical signals, an AOC uses physical light-based systems—like micro-LEDs, optical lenses, and smartphone camera sensors—to perform calculations. This approach allows for massive parallelism, potentially making it 100 times faster and more energy-efficient than conventional digital systems for certain tasks.

🧠 Solving Real-World Problems
The Microsoft team demonstrated the AOC’s capabilities by solving two complex optimization problems:

Banking Transactions – Optimizing how batches of transactions are settled at clearing houses.
Medical Imaging – Enhancing the use of magnetic resonance scans for better diagnostics.

These problems are representative of a broader class of optimization challenges found in finance, logistics, and healthcare—areas where traditional computers often struggle due to the sheer number of possible solutions.

⚡ AI Potential and Energy Efficiency
One of the most promising aspects of the AOC is its potential to run AI workloads—like those used in large language models—at a fraction of the energy cost and with significantly greater speed than today’s GPUs.

🧪 Digital Twin and Open Research
To foster collaboration, Microsoft is also releasing:

An “optimization solver” algorithm
A “digital twin” of the AOC—a software simulation that mimics the hardware’s behavior

These tools allow researchers to explore how their own problems could be mapped and solved using this new computing paradigm.
