We are a group of Power Platform enthusiasts from the heart of the industrial revolution in the UK. We meet quarterly and share information about Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agent and Power BI, as well as sharing the obligatory Power Pint! UG ID:7393

Code of Conduct

No disrespectful behaviour. This includes threats, harassment, stalking, abuse, slurs, profanity, personal attacks, sexual remarks or innuendos, physical violence, public speculation about others, and any other behavior that the User Group leadership deems inconsistent with the User Group Code of Conduct.
No illegal or offensive activities. You may not publish, post, distribute, or disseminate defamatory, infringing, obscene, or other unlawful or otherwise offensive material or discussion. This includes, but is not limited to, child pornography, bestiality, incest, illegal drugs, software piracy, discriminatory/racist statements or images and harassment.
Take responsibility for your actions. You are fully responsible and liable for anything you say (whether orally or in writing) or do.
No libel or slander against any other persons or entities. Libel includes false statements made in written form, such as statements posted to newsgroups and publicly accessible websites, electronic mail, or any other printed form.
Stay abreast of the codes of conduct. The Black Country Power Platform User Group reserves the right to amend or change the codes of conduct at any time without notice. You agree to periodically review this document to ensure you are doing your part.
No discrimination or harassment. The Black Country Power Platform User Group is committed to providing a harassment-free experience to all participants regardless of age, ancestry, color, gender identity or expression, marital status, medical condition, national origin, physical size, physical or mental disability, political affiliation, veteran status, race, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, or technology choices. Harassment is unwelcome verbal, physical or virtual behavior based on the characteristics identified above.
No sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is unwelcome verbal, physical or virtual behavior based on sex and includes gender-based harassment of a person of the same or different gender. Examples of sexual harassment include, but are not limited to:
- Unwelcome sexual advances
- Sexual comments or inappropriate gender-based jokes
- Excessive, unwelcome romantic attention
- Offering or conditioning an employment benefit or preferential treatment, like a promotion or job assignment, in exchange for sexual favors

From the 19th July (hopefully) we in England move back into Business As Usual, therefore we are now looking at how start running our events in the future. We have gained a great following during the pandemic, while we have been doing virtual events, and we don't want to leave you behind.

The plan going forward is that our evening events will be returning to in-person events, but we will continue a virtual presence by holding virtual lunch time session.

Current plan:

Month 1: Physical evening user group

Month 2: Virtual Lunch

Month 3: Virtual Lunch

Our next User Group is being planned for the 22nd June 2021 online. We are currently looking for speakers to take part. If you are interested in sharing your knowledge, ideas, or show off something really cool then please do let me know!

We are back and in our new home! WElcome to the Black Country Power Platform User Group!

The plan for the user group is to alternate between virtual and physical events so that we all have the chance to get back together and to help each other out again!
