Mixed Reality in Power Apps – View in 3D Component

Dhruvin Shah Profile Picture Posted by Dhruvin Shah 57

During this video, I will demonstrate first Mixed Reality Component which is – “View in 3D”. With “View in 3D” Component we can view objects in 3D manner. This will add one 3D component on our Power Apps Canvass App screen. This is the experimental feature. We can call this as 3D Viewer or 3D explorer for Power Apps. During this video, we will showcase different Product name on Power Apps grid. When user selects specific product, we will show the same product in 3D component.

First, we will download some 3D objects. Then we will upload them to the SharePoint list as an attachment and consume 3D objects using media and attachment concept to Power Apps. SharePoint list attachment support binary format for view content in 3D. With this we will use public URL to upload Glb files and consume them to Power Apps Mixed Reality Component. Check full video for more information.
With this, you can develop your first No Code Mixed Reality Application using Power Apps. Isn’t that amazing.

Welcome to Power Apps Mixed Reality Step by Step Series. You are watching second part of the series. During this series, we will learn how we can use Mixed Reality in Power Apps. I have divided this entire series in 5 different parts.
