In this Power Apps beginner video tutorial, we will learn how to build Navigation Menus and Flyout Menu experiences in Canvas PowerApps using the Modern Tab List control.

A Tab list is a navigation control which can help users switch between different context (screens, Launch URL or logout user) within the app. You can add a list of items to tabs or select a source field for the list in tabs to appear.
We can set the direction of the Tab List Navigation Menu to horizontal or vertical (Left Navigation and Top Navigation).
In cases where the width of the Power Apps tab list control is smaller than the width of individual items, tab list will showcase ... ellipses option. Simply click on it, and you'll be treated to a fantastic flyout experience that showcases all the tab options.

We will build the Power Apps Navigation items from a collection (can be built dynamically from a data source as well) and accordingly take different actions on click of menu items. The flyout experience will be used in a gallery context, where the user can select it from a gallery item and then take actions for the selected PowerApps gallery item.

What are Power Apps Modern Controls?
Modern controls in Canvas Power Apps are a new set of controls that are based on Microsoft's own Fluent design system. Modern controls are quicker and simpler for makers to configure. Modern controls are designed with a focus on accessibility, usability, and performance (fast) that makes them visually appealing, highly functional, and intuitive to use.
