Dhruvin Shah Profile Picture Posted by Dhruvin Shah 57

Welcome to the fourth episode of my new segment called “Talk with Devs”. During this session, we will talk about one complete real-life use case using AI Builder Form Processing and Power Automate Desktop. Sometimes, we need to deal with legacy systems in the real world. Just assume, for your legacy system you do not have any APIs available! At that time you want to communicate with the legacy system in an automated way. That time, Power Automate Desktop will help you a lot! To present this session, today on my show, we have our guest speaker Mr. Steve Winward with us!

During this session, we have a scenario, wherein we will upload our scanned handwritten document and our AI builder form processing model, will read the document automatically. Once the scanning is completed, we will insert the record into our existing legacy system using Power Automate RPA. This is the complete package of Power Platform AI Builder Form Processing with Power Automate RPA. The complete package solution used for this demo is uploaded to my GitHub repository!

Here, first, we will get started with the overall solution we are going to cover during this session. Then, we will upload our handwritten documents to AI Builder Form Processing model to train our documents. Then, we will create Power Automate RPA flow, which will pass values from Power Automate Desktop to Legacy Application. So, stay tuned throughout the entire session with me!!

During this session we will learn the following concepts:
• What is Power Automate Desktop RPA?
• What is RPA?
• Example for RPA
• Automate business processes for Legacy systems using RPA
• What is AI Builder Form Processing?
• Train handwritten scanned documents using Power Platform Form Processing
• Create Power Automate Desktop Flow and Record Steps using Recorder
• Call Power Automate Desktop flow from Power Automate Cloud Flow
• Attended Vs Non-Attended Run Model for Power Automate Desktop
